Product Description

A volumizing, nutrient-infusion shampoo for oilier scalps and lackluster hair.

This shampoo lifts away stagnant oil to free the scalp and hair of excess build-up.  Nutrient charged with a bio-structured herbal complex, BALANCE shampoo restores volume to the hair strand at the base of the follicle by intensively cleansing away sebum overproduction. A delicate blend of plant oils adds softness and shine for effortless manageability and more full-bodied, healthier hair.

BALANCE is your shampoo if you experience excess oil on your scalp around 1-2 days after shampooing. It delivers exceptional results for all hair textures and types but is particularly effective for fine hair. Safe for color-treated hair.

Formulated without silicones or quaternary ammonium compounds.

How to Use

Divide scalp into four areas - top, sides, and back. Apply a small amount to each area. Massage in thoroughly. Add more water during the massage to help distribute suds if needed. Leave in 1-3 minutes, allowing micronutrients to stimulate follicle circulation. Rinse and repeat if necessary.

Tips

- Adding water while massaging shampoo through the hair helps disperse the product for an effective cleanse.

- If your house water is hard, containing high calcium and magnesium mineral content, it can affect the performance your natural shampoo and conditioner. Heavy minerals build up and affect natural conditioners ability to soften and penetrate. The minerals in hard water decrease lathering capabilities, this is why:

Hard water contains an adversary to natural soaps - calcium. Calcium has a strong positive charge. Soap molecules are negatively charged and when they come in contact with positively-charged calcium the two bond together, with no charge at all. This greatly reduces the ability of the soap to remove dirt and oil.

    Great!

This shampoo works really well for my hair. I have naturally wavy, gray, fine hair and this gives it enough moisture without being too heavy. Works really well with the conditioner and I also use the serum to control coarse flyaways. Love that it's all natural too because I have a sensitive scalp and this does not bother me at all!

    Love this shampoo

I started using the balance shampoo and conditioner by Josh Rosebrook when I just couldn’t take the fake fragrance smell of the salon products any more and I wanted something with less chemicals. Not only does my hair look great but I also don’t need to use a de-tangler like I do when I use the smelly overpriced toxic salon products. My hair is fine, super straight and tangles super easy. My hair still looks great 2 or 3 days later. I try to wash it every other day, but if I’m just going snowboarding 2 or 3 days in a row it’s in braids & it might not get washed but it still looks great and non-greasy. I highly recommend the balance shampoo & conditioner.

    Highly recommend this shampoo!

This is my all time favorite shampoo.! It is nearly impossible to find a shampoo that doesn’t include sodium chloride, silicones, and other obscure ingredients the hair industry adds to shampoos that damage hair and scalp health. I trust anything Josh makes to be the best quality and healthy for your hair and scalp. The trick is to always do a double cleanse . The first will not lather very much but you’ll notice the second wash lathers more leaving hair beautifully fresh and clean. I will never use another shampoo as long as he still makes this one. I like to cleanse with Balance and condition with Nourish. That’s what works best for me. My hair has never been softer and healthier. Thank you Josh!!

    Not a Fan

This shampoo is super runny and does not lather at all. It has left my hair extremely dry.
