Part of the power and true efficacy of our formulating lies in the unique herbal profile of each product. Each herb is chosen for the plant’s rich bioactive constituents and its remarkable ability to benefit skin, scalp, and hair function, structure and health, as well as how each plant performs when grouped together with other herbs that support and boost its ability.
We formulate each herbal profile for every product using specific combinations and concentrations of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-dense herbs. This powerful herbal synergy makes our products truly unique and effective.
Our natural and organic ingredients are always cruelty-free, biodegradable, fair trade, and consciously grown, harvested, and produced.
IMPACT
A core part of our mission as a conscious green beauty company is the impact we have on our environment. We endeavor to reduce our carbon footprint, protect our environment, and thrive as the most environmentally sustainable business possible. We are very proud to share that all of our ingredients in every product we produce are 100% entirely earth-friendly and completely biodegradable.
It’s our practice to consider each singular ingredient and the resources required to grow, produce and bring it to the market. We encourage all people to have a thoughtful approach to personal consumption in all aspects of daily life from cosmetics and food packaging to clothing, housewares and the energy we use. We support a regular assessment of all packaging life-cycle and encourage others to avoid all single use materials whenever possible.
When transporting materials and shipping products from our manufacturing facility to our shipping warehouse we use shipping boxes and packing paper made of 100% recycled materials. We reuse those same shipping boxes and packing paper that we receive from our production facility to pack all outgoing wholesale orders. We never use EVA or styrofoam materials in packaging, instead we opt for 100% biodegradable packing peanuts.
As we add to our collection and evolve our packaging, our eyes our set firmly on the future and long-term sustainability. We currently work with an innovative company that develops cosmetic packaging from collected ocean waste plastic around the world. Another company we work with makes our tubes from Sugarcane BioResin. Most of our containers are glass and can be recycled after being detached and washed.
All of our plastic packaging is made from Polyethylene Terephthalate. “PET” is one of the most easily recycled plastics. When recycling any product the container needs to be cleaned first. Rinse and wash containers in warm water or put through the dishwasher.
SUSTAINABILITY
We view sustainability as a journey — one of continuous learning and accountability. Sustainability is embodied in our daily operations and decision-making processes: it’s a methodology ingrained in the company architecture. It requires us to consider the lifecycle of each product we make. From supply chain management to product development, wholesale management, and customer care, we constantly analyze the trade-offs and weigh our actions against our overall environmental impact, taking both the short and long-term consequences into consideration.
